To make this
poster I first created 6
oil paintings on mylar of individual beetles. Then I scanned all of them and made a layout on the computer to mimic a eye chart. Originally I was interested in making a poster in black and white. I tried to think of images people would be familiar with. That's how I decided on an eye chart.
